Even though my Host OS is a 64-bit version of Windows 8.1, VirtualBox categorically refused to display any 64-bit guest OSes in the Create Virtual Machine dialog box. This was super annoying because all my ISOs were 64-bit therefore I couldn’t use them until I fixed this problem. Windows 10 Pro Host 64-bit only supports 32-bit OS. Reported by: jesusemarquezz: Owned. I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit. It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums, a lot more eyes there. More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on. When I start VirtualBox, I only have 32 bit operating systems available. After some research I followed the steps on another post but to no avail. My host OS is 64 bit, Intel Virtualization Technology and VT-d are both enabled in the BIOS, and Hyper-V platform is disabled in the Windows Feature list, yet I still only am presented 32 bit. Hi, I also get the problem with an Intel Core i7-2600 - 3.4GHz, 4GB RAM, no PAE. Guest: windows 2008 server R2, 64bits. Host: windows 7, 32 bits. Virtualbox release number: 4.1.8 r75467 I note that the more I allocate memory to the guest, the more it waits before rebooting the host. So I guess there is a problem at the limit, when the memory.

When I installed the virtual machine I realize that cpu in guest (xp 32 bits) was at 100% not running nothing except start the system. After some search, I found a virtualbox thread where talk to change network from nat to bridge, I did it and now guest runs fine without executing anything.
But now I'm trying to execute neverwinter nights 1 in guest and cpu uses 100% of cpu. I have all the game settings to minimal, also resolution and there is nothing in the virtual machine except that game and notepad ++.
Could you help me to solve this? is it normal that a game with a emuled graphic card vga uses all cpu? could it be something related with hyperv?
